Dr. Ronan and his staff (Brette, Nurse Sandy and Nurse Kelly) are wonderful. I sought out a plastic surgeon in Blackhawk, let's be honest, it is breast augmentation central. I decided to get my first breast augmentation and I chose Dr. Ronan!. My girlfriends chose surgeon's in SF but witnessing both of their experiences I wasn't going near any surgeons in SF! I work in SF financial district and live on the Peninsula but I got in my car and drove to Blackhawk and so should everyone! I wanted the best surgeon/artist hands on me and Dr. Ronan is that surgeon. Dr. Ronan is confident, young, current and always makes the "right calls" that are going to give you the best outcome and make you beautiful. I feel beautiful! Dr. Ronan's office is on the water with ducks and very pleasant. Inside, his office is sophisticated, comfortable and smart. You know you are in good hands (and I mean this literally) from the minute you walk into his beautiful office. Right after my surgery on Oct. 26, 2011, I was able to walk to the car by myself and enjoy a vanilla latte that my girlfriend got for me. I felt great even though I just had surgery. I get to brag about having the best surgeon and the best look and it's a fabulous thing. Dr. Ronan did an AMAZING AMAZING job on my tummy tuck!! I am a mother of 3 and had 3 c-sections. I gained 80 lb's with my first and 50 lb's with my other 2. I was fortunate to lose all of the weight before considering surgery, but I had terrible stretchmarks to my belly button and a lot of loose skin above my scar. I worked rigorously with a personal trainer, but the damage was irreversible. I consulted several Plastic Surgeons in the area (including Marin & SF Dr.'s) and after meeting Dr. Ronan and reviewing his previous work through before and after photos I was convinced he was the best and he is! I don't have a single stretchmark anymore and my stomach is in better shape then my pre-baby body. My scar is super low and well hidden under my bikini and my belly button looks great..barely noticeable. Recovery was smooth considering I have 3 girls under 6:) and I was in Hawaii 6 weeks later and felt GREAT. His NP Sandy was GREAT and eased my nerves in our pre-op appointment. Dr. Ronan was honest about other procedures I didn't need (e.g., lipo on my thighs) and he seemed genuine and down to earth, which wasn't my experience with most of the Dr.'s I consulted. I would absolutely recommend him to my family and friends and will go back for any future work.

5 stars isn't enough to give Dr.  Ronan and the staff at BPS.  From your initial call until your appointment after your surgery, the staff is so amazing and caring.  I felt very comfortable from the first moment I walked into the doors of their beautiful establishment in Blackhawk Plaza.  

I cannot say enough about Dr.  Ronans work.  He is an artist and creates something beautiful in everything he does.  I had a previous breast augmentation from another doctor that I wasn't happy with, then I went to see Dr.  Ronan and he did a miracle.  He removed my old inplants and put new ones in and I was up and around that evening, with very little pain.

I also go to him for my Botox and have for the past 6 years.  He is the only one that I trust with my face.  He does amazig work that looks so natural.
