Blackhawk Plastic Surgery and the Blackhawk Surgery Center were both founded by Dr. Ronan. With the rapid growth and success of the practice, Dr. Ronan decided to expand the practice by adding another physician.
Blackhawk Surgery Center
The Blackhawk Surgery Center is a state-of-the-art facility located adjacent to Blackhawk Plastic Surgery. The center was created to allow our surgeons and staff to tailor a custom-made experience from start to finish. William J Kemerer MD, our full time anesthesiologist, has tremendous experience with plastic surgery anesthesia.
The process begins with a consultation or information visit. Dr. Ronan’s consultations tend to be lengthy. After he elicits the goals and desires of the patient and conducts a focused history and exam, Dr. Ronan reviews the options available. Risks of the particular procedure are discussed in great detail. Realistic expectations are discussed and before/after photos of actual patients are reviewed. All of your questions are answered. At the conclusion of the visit, you will review a quotation with the patient coordinator. The goal of the consultation is to provide the patient with more than enough information to make a good decision about the procedure(s).

Dr. Ronan and his staff (Brette, Nurse Sandy and Nurse Kelly) are wonderful. I sought out a plastic surgeon in Blackhawk, let's be honest, it is breast augmentation central. I decided to get my first breast augmentation and I chose Dr. Ronan!. My girlfriends chose surgeon's in SF but witnessing both of their experiences I wasn't going near any surgeons in SF! I work in SF financial district and live on the Peninsula but I got in my car and drove to Blackhawk and so should everyone! I wanted the best surgeon/artist hands on me and Dr. Ronan is that surgeon. Dr. Ronan is confident, young, current and always makes the "right calls" that are going to give you the best outcome and make you beautiful. I feel beautiful! Dr. Ronan's office is on the water with ducks and very pleasant. Inside, his office is sophisticated, comfortable and smart. You know you are in good hands (and I mean this literally) from the minute you walk into his beautiful office. Right after my surgery on Oct. 26, 2011, I was able to walk to the car by myself and enjoy a vanilla latte that my girlfriend got for me. I felt great even though I just had surgery. I get to brag about having the best surgeon and the best look and it's a fabulous thing.
